This year marks the 10th year anniversary of Mass Power Services, a recruitment and staffing company located in central Singapore.

Established in 2003, Mass Power has risen from its humble beginnings and developed as one of the major players in providing local and international recruitment and outsourcing services. As part of its commitment to deliver excellence in service and also to give thanks to all the support received from customers, Mass Power held its 9th Annual HR Event last July 2013.

Mass Power’s Managing Director, Mr Derek Yue, conveyed his gratitude for the support that the company received in the past years.

On his speech, Mr Yue mentioned about the challenges that the Company has faced and able to weather through like economic crises, changes in the Government legislation and regulations, economic restructuring, to name a few.

“As a result of your continuous support and faith in us, you had enabled us to come this far and we are dedicated to nurture a stronger working relationship with you. Mass Power is responsive to these market changes and has grown much stronger after all these years of trials and tests. We are aware of your challenges and are committed to assist you to build capabilities and raise productivity by sourcing for the required talents and organising annual HR seminars to supplement your knowledge and updating of current trends”, said Mr Yue.

 In this year’s event, Mr Chia Boon Cher, a veteran in human resource management, industrial relations and labour law practices, provided the seminar entitled “Changes to the Employment Act and other Labour Laws: Are you prepared?. Mr Chia brushed up some notable changes that took effect on May this year like the Child Development Co-savings Act and extending the coverage of the Employment Act to PMEs.
